Engagement & Growth tools

Five tools for what happens after the click: whether they watch, whether they subscribe, whether they comment, whether they come back, and whether the timing was right.

Tool 1~15 seconds to run

Retention Curve Estimator

Tell us your video length, hook strength, pacing score, and pattern-interrupt density. We render a predicted retention curve and identify the seconds where the algorithm is most likely to deprioritize your video.

What's different here: Most retention estimators draw a curve from your analytics. We draw one from your script inputs — useful when you don't have analytics yet.

Retention curve will appear here.

What this solves

Without analytics, you can't tell whether your first 8 seconds are strong enough. This estimator produces a publishable baseline so you can compare after launch.

How to interpret

The curve has a typical shape: steep initial drop (3–8s), mid-content dip (40–55% for short-form), late recovery if there's a payoff. The yellow zones are critical-loss seconds.

FAQ

Why does the curve dip in the middle?

Almost every short-form video shows a mid-content dip. It's natural — the novelty has worn off but the payoff hasn't arrived. Pattern interrupts flatten it.

What counts as "good" retention?

For Shorts: 70%+ view-through. For TikTok: 50%+ completion. For Reels: 60%+ retention past 3 seconds.

Tool 2~10 seconds to run

Subscriber Conversion Score

Enter your last video's views, watch time, and net new subscribers. We compute your sub-per-1000-view ratio and compare it to your niche baseline. Also tells you whether your video converted "above bench" (viral-worthy) or "below bench" (retention leak).

What's different here: Most dashboards show "subs gained today" without context. We convert it to a rate and benchmark it.

Score will appear here.

What this solves

"Subs gained today" without context is meaningless. A finance channel converting 12 subs per 1k views is great; a comedy channel doing 8 is below niche baseline.

How to interpret

Above 1.2× your niche baseline: algorithm will favor your video. Below 0.7×: algorithm will deprioritize. In between: depends on CTR and retention.

FAQ

What improves conversion?

Strong identity cues in the first 7 seconds. Recurring visual signature. Visible subscribe CTA in the safe zone (not the bottom strip).

Net negative is OK sometimes?

Yes — if the video is a controversial opinion piece. The algorithm usually doesn't penalize a single negative-conversion video.

Tool 3~5 seconds to run

Comment Prompt Generator

Pick your niche and a prompt style (question, debate, fill-in-blank, poll). We generate 8–12 tailored prompts that drive comments without sounding forced. Also flags which prompts are likely to drive the algorithm (long threads) vs. shallow replies.

What's different here: Most "comment prompts" lists are generic. We generate context-aware prompts that match your niche's natural discussion vocabulary.

Prompts will appear here.

What this solves

"Comment below!" is the lowest-converting CTA. Niche-aware prompts with a specific ask get 4–7× more replies.

How to interpret

Star-marked prompts are predicted to drive longer comment threads (3+ replies). Plain prompts are quick replies. Avoid prompts that don't include a verb — those get ignored.

FAQ

Where should I put the prompt?

Verbally in the last 8 seconds AND on-screen in the center-third area (not bottom — see Safe Zone tool).

Should I pin my own reply?

Yes — but only if it adds context. Pinning a "thanks for watching" reply looks lazy and reduces replies.

Tool 4~10 seconds to run

Content Series Planner

Enter one video idea. We generate a 6-episode series structure that escalates complexity, satisfies curiosity at each step, and closes with a payoff. Each episode is suggested as long or short form and includes the connecting thread.

What's different here: Most "content calendars" are templates. We build a narrative arc that holds attention across episodes.

Series structure will appear here.

What this solves

One-off videos build some audience. Series build subscribe habits. But most creators can't structure a multi-episode arc — they default to "5 random tips".

How to interpret

Each episode should leave one question unanswered — that's the hook for the next. Episode 6 should pay off episode 1's setup.

FAQ

Should I publish all six at once?

No. One per week. The algorithm rewards sustained engagement over a multi-week arc.

Long or short form?

Mix: 2 long-form for foundation, 4 short-form for the journey. Long-form builds sub trust; short-form builds reach.

Tool 5~10 seconds to run

Best Post Time Finder

Enter your primary audience timezone and niche. We return three optimal posting windows for the upcoming week, factoring in commute hours, lunch breaks, and prime-time scrolling — plus the day-of-week effect.

What's different here: Most "best time to post" tools return a single hour. We return windows (90-min ranges) because algorithm distribution is bursty, not point-in-time.

Optimal windows will appear here.

What this solves

Posting at the wrong hour can mean your video gets 40% fewer initial impressions, which reduces the algorithm's willingness to push it.

How to interpret

The 90-minute windows are the "best" — within each, post 15–30 min into the window. Wednesday/Thursday are typically best for business; Friday/Saturday for lifestyle.

FAQ

Does posting time really matter?

Yes — but less than content quality. A strong video posted at a "wrong" time outperforms a weak video at the "right" time.

Should I schedule or post live?

Schedule — the algorithm uses upload time, not live-time. Scheduling 1 hour before the window peak works.
